Meet your photographer

Hey, hey! I’m so glad you made it here. My name is Alee’a Harris I’m a published editorial and commercial photographer. My life’s passion is to simply tell stories and I’m grateful to do so through my lens and artistic eye. I’ve tried to niche my speciality, but I’ve found my happiness in shooting a variety of things. Variety is the spice of life, and I love every adventure I enjoy with my clients.

Education
I have a bachelor’s degree in Integrative Public Relations from Central Michigan University. #FireUpChips!

Publications

I have my work published in print and digital publications through the Grand Rapids Public Museum, The Diatribe and The Mob Journal. I also have 200 images published through Shutterstock’s The Create Fund — a grant designed to amplify minority voices to tell diverse stories from unique perspectives.

My photography style
My photography style has two sides: bold and bright and passionate and edgy. I believe these opposite styles bring so much personality to my work. I prefer to work with natural light because the sun is the most beautiful form of light, but I can also do studio lighting.

When it comes to editing, I believe you look best in your most natural form, so no, I can’t remove any double chins, cellulite, etc.. What I can do is help you feel and look your best through proper posing, lighting and photo composition. Don’t worry — I got you!

Other things about me
I love spending time with my hubby Melvin and dog Micco, hiking, traveling, watching basketball, teaching pole dance online, supporting local businesses, tacos and tequila and riding my bike. .

Overall, I’m just a creative who adores capturing visual stories in the most unique ways possible. If you’ve made it this far, let’s connect. I’d love to learn more about you!.
